Experience in organization and arrancemeny of traning for petroleum industry

opitTogether with the international training provider- IHRDC, a training course for the top management of NOC “Kazakhoil” and its affiliated companies was arranged and carried out, followed by the international tour aimed at the acquaintance with the experience of such companies as Petroleos de Venezuela, S.A. (PDVSA) and Petronas (Malaysia).

The training course for the NOTC “KazTransOil” management was organized both in Almaty and the US (California, Bakersfield).

Together with the TACIS project the training of Kazakhstani petroleum specialists in drilling operations was organized in Almaty, Atyrau, Holland and Germany.

Together with the French company ENSPN the PITC organized training for the NOC “Kazakhoil” employees in the offshore petroleum operations in Almaty followed by the international tour to Holland, France and Scotland.

The training courses in the petroleum surface facilities have been prepared for OJSC “Uzenmunaigas” in cooperation wuth SAIT (Canada).

It were made contracts on training services with “Tengizshevroil” and KIO companies and some of the contracts are on stage of implementation.

Experience in co-operation with the international financing organizations

Work in two TACIS projects of the European Community Commission (1995-1997); (1997-2000); The project of Know-How Foundation (UK), (1996-1997);

Work in various projects within the framework of the World Bank’s Loan # 3744-KZ implementation (1996-1997);

Partnership with the Southern Alberta Institude of Technology (SAIT) under the SIDA Project of Canadian Government (1999-2002)

Experience in traning continuously open for numerous customers

opit1The PITC annually provides up to 35 courses in various issues of petroleum industry including the technical and legel ones in the field of Human Resourses, Taxation Policy, HSE, Management, Finance, Marketing etc.

  • Once-off seminars in different locations are arranged at the requests of petroleum and other industrial companies.
  • Recruiting and training of young specialists having certain experience and working in the interested branch, is provided under the certification program “Master’s Degree in Petroleum Business”. Their training course is entirely supported by the ENI-AGIP company.
  • Training for the top management of petroleum companies under the syllabus “Master of Petroleum Business Management” is provided. The sponsor of the training program is the ENI-AGIP company.
  • Training of young specialists at foreign universities and partnership with many Kazakhstani and foreign universities and institutions.

Recruitment experience

As the PITC activities are connected with industrial companies and educational institutions, it offers them its services in the search and selection of appropriate specialists and university graduates, providing the latter’s with information on organizations with potentially available jobs.
With this purpose the PITC continuously upgrades its database in the following: students graduating from petroleum and other departments of the universities, candidates to fill different vacant positions and petroleum industry organizations of Kazakhstan.

Should any companies request search for candidates with additional skills/expertise the PITC arranges required training. Kazakhstani organizations have access to our database and may, if necessary, invite candidates for the interview through the PITC.

In 2000 we assisted TCO to employee 3 specialists who have graduated from western universities. The PITC is experienced in recruiting staff for Kazakhstani client organizations and looks forward to expand the scope of this business.
